The Volunteers Team assists with the coordination and running of the Gathering.
Maintaining a close liaison (and friendship!) with the local community, the team is responsible for the myriad of big picture - and detail - tasks for the smooth running of the weekend.
Ranging from publicity, through putting out chairs and tables to sound mixing, announcing, writing funding applications, judging competitions, running the gumboot toss... you name it, if it needs doing, a volunteer is the one who does it!
Joining our team is not only immensely satisfying, but it is also a great social group with a truckload of camaraderie and a strong sense of community spirit - for the Frances and non-Frances folk alike!
Our volunteers hail from the country and the city - from both sides of the border, and beyond!
